It’s difficult for subsistence-level farmers to make real economic progress, especially in the dairy industry.

But Heifer’s East Africa Dairy Development (EADD) project solves this problem by placing refrigerated plants at strategic locations where farmers can bring their milk for storage and pickup by commercial dairies. Then even a farmer with a single cow can participate in the dairy industry.
